So PrimroseMom1, this looks like a great idea but I can't figure out...are the bottles just cooling the air a little or are the chicks brushing up against them to cool off? Probably dumb, but this is my first summer with chickens so I'm still working out ways to keep them cool in the Alabama...
I'm wondering too! Raz, about exactly how you'd make the coop snake proof. My hardware cloth is buried bout 8-12 inches but I am under a tree so they could drop down and they could climb over.
And I'm wondering about great feed. My girls are right at 11 weeks. They've gotten Dumors so far...
Awe thanks so much bunnylady! With a name like that you gotta know the deal! Hubby says if the little guy is still scared stiff in the morning he'll probably just turn him loose at the spot where he picked him up. His eyes are def open, wide open and unblinking. I just hope he can hop faster...
The poor little bunny seems to being ok except for being scared as he can be! He's in my chicks first little coop that they outgrew so he's got access to grass etc etc and he's relatively protected from predators. Ive given him A bowl of water and a bowl of puppy chow but I'm not sure if he's...

Chirping cricket, I've been a tourist at those places and the pier/yardarm etc is always great. We always like to ride through Fairhope when we are down south, it's so beautiful there.
My hubby and I went there last night for the first time and dang it I can't remember how I found out about it. Hubby, who is a big bah humbug kinda guy sometimes, says this is his new fav place to eat. A wonderful experience in a beautiful setting.
For those of y'all in the northwestern part of the state.....did I read somewhere in this thread about Rattlesnake Saloon? I hardly go anywhere else on the net now so surely it was here?
