They are 6 weeks old today :) DH went and put them all (81 of them) on the roost last night because the heat lamps are up high. He teases me because I like the chickens so much, but he's just as guilty of doting over them ;)
The chickies are all moved into their new digs :) they haven't quite figured out the ladder and roosts, but I'm sure they will eventually :)

What about attaching the chicken wire to like a welded wire. Might give it some "strength" and still allow material through without having huge holes?!?!?
The coop walls are up and we are ready to build the roosts and poop deck. I can't seem to find how wide the average deck is though. Is 2 feet enough? Should we go wider? Any thoughs are appreciated :)

The only part of the coop we've bought is the flooring, the osb board to cover the walls and a few studs. Everything else is reused...
