    Feathers destroyed. Others won't leave her alone

    Do cut the feather stems off? The blood stain attracts peckers. Her wing tips are stained too. I separated her. She was lethargic. She is now with two sisters white leg borns. No one else is being attacked. 5 weeks old. Should I put her back now. Her tail looks like 4 tooth picks.

    My goodness the pecking! Need help figuring this out...

    Have you checked for mites and lice? I got some contaminated straw (infested). I had to dust the flock, and exterminate the coops. Removed all feeders, bedding etc..stripped then bombed the coops. That was my last recourse. I had hen completely bald. It seemed to help. No more problems.

    Time to check for Mites, lice? I had to dusty my flick one year. I bought straw that was contaminated. Everything was contaminated. I had to put flick outside and bomb the coop. Yes! Bad they were acting cannibalism. One girl was completely naked After all that it calmed down. Suggest...

    One of my hens is getting beat up on by the rest of the flock.

    I have had luck putting news chickens during the dark. I had a brood that I had to relocate and put more eggs under. I did that in the dark too. Seemed to help.
