    Expanding prefab

Hey all! Currently I have 4 large breed chickens and I have a prefab chicken coop. Can you provide me advice or suggestions for expanding my current coop. (It has a pull out tray on the bottom and it’s raised up above a run)

I am purchasing a metal kennel to put over my coop but it’s manufactured with chicken wire. Should I put hardware cloth on the bottom 2 feet or should I cover the whole thing is hardware cloth?

    What age is this chick?

Hey all! I have a back australorp that looks similar to this. Could you help me figure out how many weeks? I was told mine were only a couple days old but she’s bigger than all my others.

    Bee Pollen for Chicks?

I have been doing some research and came across the health benefits for chickens eating bee pollen pellets. Are they safe for chicks as well? I have 2 week old chicks.

    Herbs in brooder

It is a mix of lavender, oregano, sage, thyme, peppermint, rosemary, and parsley.

    Herbs in brooder

I made a mix of herbs to eventually mix into the dust bath. However, I am wondering if I can sprinkle some in my brooder since they have been dust bathing in the pine shavings.
