    I am having issues with my oldest gen. She is about 7 weeks old. She is being lethargic not active at all and when I looked at her she had what seemed to be an air bubble on her chest. Please help.

    Do chickens eat red fire ants? I just found an ant mound of fire ants yesterday and want to make sure it's safe for me to put the chickens around it for them to eat. I am trying not to use ant poison.

    I am new to owning chickens I live in the OKC area and am most in need of knowledge on what works best for the floor of the coop and in the egg boxes? I have read good stuff on pine shavings and sand. Does the DLM work here with how humid we get? How often should I move my chicken run?

    I have been reading a lot about the deep litter method. do you use this? With how humid it get here I'm not sure if it would be good for moisture purposes. What do you use on the floor of your coop and in the egg boxes?

    I am a new chicken owner from Oklahoma and am just trying to learn as much as possible to make sure I have healthy egg laying hens. I bought 6 Rode Island Reds on Saturday. They seem to be doing good so far. Ryan
