Anyone know the breed and if pullet or rooster?
I bought a box of 'Welsummer' chicks almost 3 months ago but now that they are getting bigger I am noticing that they look much different from one another. I am also concerned that they have pointed neck feathers which from my little experience leads me to believe that many are male. Please...- Rychr

Brusied Eggs
We are having the same issue. Only our hen does not seem to have any abnormalities. She lays very large eggs. This is the first egg where it's had a large lump that is a deep red at the peak and the lump is surrounded by fine cracks. I haven't cracked it open yet to see if the yolk is normal...- Rychr

Canadian Ontario Hatchery?
We are looking to purchase a variety of RTL Hens. A little concerned now from reading about negative experiences. I suppose we could wait but very excited and looking forward to enjoying our first free range egg. Does anyone know where we could purchase a few healthy RTL's near London, ON?- Rychr
