Oh that's a good idea, I've also been manually moving them every night, though they don't usually stay I've got a heat lamp and bulb, just no timer. I'm sure I can remember to plug in the extension cord at night though. I'll have yo set something up tomorrow.

Put my 5 weeks old pullets outside in the grow out pen yesterday and they're doing great! They love the dirt and already made some dust bath holes. They haven't quite grasped the idea of a roost bar or even the enclose back area, they just sleep right out in the open area
Right! Shes given me 3 bucks out of 4 kids in the past so I was ecstatic to get three does this season! Their mom is a mini Nubian and dad is a Nigerian
Chicks are two weeks old today, and growing well! The only thing I've noticed is there is a distinct size difference in the smaller and larger chicks. I chalk it up to the fact they're slow growers and assume they'll still finish at similar weights, but we'll see
They're a huge pain in the butt, but they're adorable so its okay
Haha it was an endocrinology appointment, I'm type 1 diabetic so I go in every few weeks so its not a big deal if I miss one
They're Mini Nubian/Nigerians! The little middle ones name is Dally, she looks just like her dad, and has blue eyes too. She'll actually be for sale once shes old enough ;)
I did have one chick die yesterday. It seemed to have some neurological damage and was stumbling around from day 1. Not sure what caused it but I wouldn't pin it on Strombergs themselves
