Malls!! Check the loading docks at Malls and behind strip shopping stores. I've worked at a mall for 20 years. People with trucks or trailers come around every day and night to pilfer the pallets from the loading docks and areas behind the stores. Just say'in. ;)

Thanks for the reply. The roof is raised above the walls leaving an inch around the top of the walls for ventilation and there is no floor in the bottom of the coop it is open to the ground. The run is covered with netting that is over the roof and the runs. They cannot access the roof. There...

Here's some photos of the coop I made out of mostly Pallet wood. Pretty simple if you have some tools and a little skill.

I have 2 of those 8x8 pens on either side of one of my coops. I attached them to the coop with tunnels that I made out of 2"x2"s and 1/2x1/2 wire. I love the pens. My neighbor has a coop like the one you are considering. I'm not sure of its condition. Most prefab coops don't seem to be sturdy...

7 today that's about max lately. 18 hens 6 Isa's laying 5 or 6 per day the rest of the flock BRs and BO's are slackers lol.
