    My daughter, who is a vegetarian, named our girls after chicken dishes: Chimichanga (Red Star), Florentine and Tetrazzini (Buff Orpingtons); Gumbo Ya-Ya (a fat Barred Rock); and Vindaloo (black Australorp). We also had PotPie who died when she was only a couple of weeks old :(
