    Broody hen broke some eggs

    Same thing happened with my Buff O. (A brand new mother too.) She broke a few, cleaned the nest up and continued to sit on the remaining eggs. I didn't touch them or wash them. She hatched the rest of the eggs a few weeks later. My vote, leave them alone.
