    I bought this little baby yesterday and the feed store only says variety of geese. They had some that were the black and brown and some like this baby pure yellow. It also has blue eyes I know it’s hard to see in the pictures. It’s super sweet and follows me constantly wanting to be held already.

    That’s what I think. He got his tail feathers the quickest which made me question the myth that says that hens feather quicker.

    So I hear a lot of people say that chicks that get their tail feathers first are hens and chicks that feather later are roosters but from what I’m seeing all of my chicks that are feathering first look to be roosters well most at least and the ones with not much tail feathers seem to be hens...

    So on may 5th my little babies hatched. I had gotten some eggs from a friend of mine who has ameraucana and olive egger hens with ameraucana and tolbunt polish roosters and some ayam cemani/svart hona cross.     Yea I have a separate thermometer that I kept inside. She didn’t make it and I don’t think she ever would have her stomach was huge and weird and there was this gel like stuff inside. I think her having a messed up air sac messed her up.

    My temperature and humidity have stayed steady during incubation and lockdown except when I pulled babies out that were ready to come out. I’m just worried because it’s not the normal air sac.
