    Same here, we are getting just the right amount of rain every few days and not hard rains just nice soaking rain. Every time I look at the garden all the plants are bigger and bigger. On the down side I found a few cabbage worms on the broccoli yesterday, had to break out the dipel powder.

    We use the axe and chopping block method but with two people and we do it in the garden. We dig a hole about a foot deep right beside the block and the heads and blood all goes in the hole. One person holds the wings and body while the other chops, then just hold the bird over the hole to bleed...

    Put up the fence for the peas to climb up, all the greens are growing fast. About two weeks for the first garden salad.

    I use the incubator as a heat source to germinate seeds, even the hard to start hot pepper seeds sprout in a no time there.

    Brought new peas home! But how long...?

    Our pea's don't really eat that much, you would think for their size that they would eat more than they do. I'm sure moving them has them spooked, ours love whole corn and hard boiled egg yokes - they will eat the whites but only after all the yoke is gone. That might help them settle in faster.

    I have been growing habaneros for years, peppers grow very well in our area, whatever is in the soil they do very well on. Just a few plants gives all we need for a year.
