Hello I need some help determining how much to feed our little one (6 weeks old) with wry neck. Right now we do have to feed her by syringe since she won't eat much by herself so we have been giving her 1cc of rooster booster and an egg yolk or two via syringe. Is that enough she's a jersey...
Hi I'm at a bit of a loss for what to do. I'm currently watching someones sick chicken while they are out of town and before I started watching them their parents noticed they were lame but with no signs of bumblefoot or leg injury. It's largely her left leg and it seems to randomly do better...
I totally hadn't even considered horse fly spray lol! I did find some however we weren't 100% confident about spraying them directly so we put some on a paper towel and wiped everyone a bit. We did clean all their bedding and their cage and sprayed all of it however later we will probably need...
We aren't putting too much DE in with them since we know it can be an irritant. We don't want to use any permethrine products since we have cats. We wouldn't be feeding them the garlic juice we are spraying it on them.
With it being caught early we are hoping to treat it right away preferably...
Hello!

Our little silkie hen just hatched out three eggs from our mixed flock and at first glance I was pretty sure I knew who was from who.... however we think the grey chipmunk looking one might actually be from our silkie since they have feathered legs and only our silkie has fancy feet. But the...
She had laid earlier that day and while we had her in the garage she did poop and it didn't look too unusual.
She's doing much better today even laid another egg despite it being warmer today than yesterday. Rest and hydration seemed to help her a lot!
So I'm a bit worried about our Easter egger Hawk she's a pretty fluffy gal and doesn't do well with heat at all. We provide shade, water and "peepsicles" but we went outside and she was super lethargic. Occasionally she would get up and wander around rather listlessly typically with her eyes...
Hi wasn't sure where to post this so here will do I guess! We have a cockerel that is a barnyard mix (Starlight green egger x olive egger) who looks absolutely gorgeous and is like 8 different colors. We've been calling him Van Gogh but I'm curious if this is like an actual pattern or if he's...
