I just picked up my baby chickens and one of them has dried poop but i tried to remove it with warm water but it still looks pretty bad. What can this be????? HELP PLEASE!!!
Mine are doing the same thing although not sure which one is laying from the roost. I have 5 Isa Browns and 4 nesting boxes so there is enough room????
Thank you soooo much. I hope I don't need to use the information. So far the rest of mine are doing great. And so glad that you are all on here to help when needed :)
Thanks for the info and glad he is doing better. If I ever do have to fed them water I can't drowned them can I if I put water in their beak with and eye dropper? They are small still right now.
Thank you I will do that just to have on hand. Or maybe I will start them on it when I get back from the store with it. First I need to call around and find it. They all look ok so far. I don't think I could stand to loose another one.
Thank you. No they have not been outside yet. There was some loose watery poop, but I don't know which one it was from. I am keeping a look out on the rest of them. I just didn't think that within 3 weeks I would have gotten so attached to them :).
I have 6 Isa Brown chickens about 7-8 weeks old. They were all great yesterday but one of them is just laying there breathing heavy this morning. No other symptoms. Any suggestions as to what I should look for? Help me save my baby. Thank you
Hello, We are new to the whole raising chickens. But I love my babies. We just started with 6 Isa Browns. I think they are about 7 weeks old. I know I will be having a lot of questions so any help would be greatly appreciated :). They are so friendly and they let me pet them and come running...
