I don't know, my friend bought them from a 2nd hand page from a breeder here in Belgium.
He is growing really massive, I just took some new pics. His 'brothers' from the same hatch are growing up with my friend and are much less developed than him! Probably because he is the only male.
Almost 6...
Update for whoever is interested: 4,5 months old now, becoming a big handsome boy :)
He still has a nice girly lacing in the front but getting really white on the top.
They say pullets don't crow and he has been crowing in the morning. Not alot, a few minutes between 7 and 9.
So probably will be a late bloomer like you say.
I really wonder how he will look in a few months:)
My neighbour said he was looking in the trees to find out which bird was making that sound 😄
My 2 closest neighbours agree with me to keep him for now. They are not bothered yet. For now he has only crowd between 7 and 8 in the morning, after the nightcoop opens. I put a dark blanket over it to...
UPDATE:
He is now 10/11 weeks and started crowing yesterdag. It sounded like someone is blowing on a kazoo or something lol.
Pictures for people who are also trying to guess the gender of their SL wyandottes. Still no typicall rooster feathers but he surely is a boy.
Hello everyone,
I'm raising my first 2 chickens ever since they were 2/3 weeks of age. A friend who hatched them herself feather sexed them at the first day but she is also new to this so was half guessing.
I have one barnevelder wich I'm 80% sure is a pullet.
The wyandotte chic in question...
