We had a mama hatch this check. Mama was a Marans and dad is an Easter egger. I haven’t paid attention too much to my chickens feet and thought hers looked different!

thank you! She unfortunately passed. I had brought them both inside and they succumbed pretty quickly. I guess its a lesson learned for these upcoming summer months.
Is this heat stroke?? 2nd chicken today. We reached 100° temps.
Crop is fine, no mites, just lethargic, won’t eat or drink, won’t stand, and I’m not sure if this liquid is coming out the vent or mouth. I’ve been syringing water and electrolytes into her.
I received my chicks today and noticed this one has a janky eye. She doesn’t move a whole lot so I can’t tell if she’s just a sleepy baby or maybe hurt. She pooped so I believe she’s eating/drinking.

Yes! I told my husband it needed to be mowed prior, but I had no idea he had let them out. The unfortunate part about our property is we inherited it and underneath all the trees are barbed wire, chains, old batteries, and lord knows what else. So it's been a process trying to clear it all out...
I noticed yesterday evening my two 16 week old Marans had HUGE crops. My husband let them out to free range yesterday and when I looked back at the camera that faces the coop I noticed some chickens were up under trees that have long grass.
This morning, the crops were not as big as last night...
