Oh that's awesome to hear!!! I love watching them stumble around while they get used to their legs :) they are super cute. Congrats. Not much happening from the other eggs in mine yet.
Well since my last post I've had three out! :) maybe I did just write the dates down wrong. I'll try and get some pics of them. That's awesome that yours are wiggling around. I wish I saw more activity in mine.
Most of mine were developing well but yesterday was the 21st day and I only have two pips today. I'm hoping I just wrote down day one on the wrong day because otherwise I drowned em all by accidentally letting the humidity hit 90 for a day.
I put eggs in on the 25th! :) I'm there with you. Sadly i think i see a couple blood rings but every other egg, even the duck eggs are developing. If the ducks hatch is another story, they're an experiment. WIsh i had silkies in there.
I just set 41 eggs in my new incubator and new turner last night so today is day one for me Think I might buy some hatching eggs soon so I can hatch out different varieties than australorps lol

I'm not sure what to do about the bleeding one. It might keep bleeding instead of clotting up if the other two chicks are pecking at it. I heard that chicks will peck at red things when they're newly hatched for some reason. I've never used aspen bedding, always Yellow pine shavings from feeders...
Surprisingly all 3 of the chicks I figured that I would have to cull are still alive. The swelling went down on two of the chicks and I can't tell which two they were now. One of them, I'm figuring is still going to die. I was just holding out hope that with some food, water and time it would...
