Do any of you feed fermented feed? With rising costs I’m thinking of starting to with the hopes of saving a bit of $$$ in exchange for time. Plus seems to be best for the chickens health. We got the storm too. We were just finishing putting up our greenhouse panels but they weren’t fastened at the bottom. My husband ran out to tend to that and make sure the chickens were okay. They were blowing around here too and some were smart enough to go into the coop. But it was very short...- Sarahmacc1

So sorry to hear that. It’s never easy loosing an animal. It gets easier over time but they always seem to be missed when the memories come back.- Sarahmacc1

Finally got some pictures of my flock. They are 17 weeks old finally so we have the occasional egg check but assuming a few more weeks.
