    New ducks on the way

I am getting 2 pekin ducks next week. 1 male and 1 female. From what I understand is they need a lot of time and attention. I was wondering if any one has had them as pets, as these will serve no other purpose than to entertain me and my 7 year old daughter. If you have any advice/tips that...

    First Egg Countdown

We had our first egg today! Our hen daisy went missing this morning and I went to look for her, I found her in some weeds with an egg she had laid. Then tonight she laid another egg with a really weak shell and then she laid a yolk! It was crazy!

    Need coop ideas

New to Chickens and am about to build our coop. We have 6 chicks right now and would like a coop large enough to expand to 8 or more in the future. We have lots of room for the coop and chicken run, just would like some ideas on the size I should be planning for. Any input would help. Thanks.

    New to chickens

Thanks for the replies already!! Can't believe how quickly y'all responded. I have put save-a-chick electrolyte powder in their water, and the temp in their brooder box is 90 degrees. I moved it away from the front door in order to avoid drafts. Hopefully we don't lose anymore!
