    What is your favorite thing about owning chickens?

    They think humans exist to feed them treats, so we are big deal. Think fans or paparazzi type chasing of new humans more than the guard dog type.

    The sweet and savvy ones. I’ll have to say Lavender Orphington‘s. and then my own little backyard somewhat intentional, actually very intentional, mix😋.

    is the lacing gene dominant or recessive?

    I get beautiful laced babies from my solid lavender Orphington rooster, blue-red laced Wyandotte hen and silver laced Orphington hen.
