I wasn't going to heat my coop as per a lot of the advice on the forum, but as my coop is small and I only have 4 chickens, I didn't think they would produce enough heat themselves. So, I bought "sweeter heater" off e-bay and attached it to the roof of the coop (2'X2'X3') just over where...
Mine still works great. Only problem is when the food forms a funnel inside the bucket and the flat part has nothing to propel forward.
I have figured a way to do the same with a teaspoon - works well too.
