    My young Blue Ameraucana is feathering darker than my laying hen. Feathers are also much pointier. Would love educated opinions on gender. Black one is an Ameraucana/Jersey giant cross. Muff/beard coming in on it already. Hopeful for it to be a hen. So far, looks like a black Ameraucana...

    The bulk of the order was supposed to be golden comet. Most of the ones my buddy took were the yellow instead of red as well. Maybe they're 2nd generation and the sex-link didn't apply?
