I have Arabians and have owned horses for 50+ years. I also have German Shepherds, cats (including a Snowshoe and a Bengal) and a Decker Rat Terrier. I love animals and always have! The chickens were originally to help with pest control, as our new place was overrun with scorpions, grasshoppers and junebugs. I always figured the eggs were a bonus, but having watched them for the last 6 years I've discovered what a joy they are to simply hang out with too!
