Goose clipped by car
Thank you for your help. A little update. I left him alone and he is still alive. He isn't very energetic and isn't foraging for himself or bathing. Definitely something wrong with his wing. Anyone think I should try and splint it or just let it be?- sccrj88

Goose clipped by car
I was free ranging my geese and ducks yesterday (2 African and 2 pilgrim) and they got in the road. One African was killed instantly by the car and my favorite, a large african(gander) was "clipped" by the same car. He is sagging his right wing and appears to be in pain. The only symptoms I could see that matched zinc poisoning was weakness and the third goose had a small amount of blood coming from its beak. Ian all the geese are female pilgrim geese. They all laid nests and eggs fine until about mid april and then stopped. What makes this strange to me is them dying in such quick succession. -
