I am so grateful to hear this. This is our first broody and we were excited to hatch some chicks, but I didn't seclude her and one by one her eggs disappeared and I've found two or three opened shells - no development, just runny egg.
We have been using this trap, having a lot of mice in the coop. It worked very well except that they were dead not live in the trap. Not very humane but it kept them from the feed. And the hens could not get into it and be hurt.
