A GLW cock bird over SLW hens will produce GLW pullets and yellow cockerels. A SLW cock bird over GLW hens will produce SLW pullets and yellow cockerels. My yellow cockerels have appeared silver with yellowed or dingy hackles and saddle.
I have 5 Gold Laced Wyandotte chicks and 2 Wyandotte mixed chicks for sale north of Houston. Hatched July 30th. Straight run. $3 each or $20 for all 7. These are not exhibition birds but make lovely layers. The mixes are GLWxBuff Orp or Australorp. Eggs were bought from Outdoorsii.
Hi guys! I have 5 gold laced Wyandotte and 2 Wyandotte mixed chicks for sale just north of Houston. Straight run. They hatched July 30. $3 each if anyone is interested. These are not exhibition birds but will make wonderful layers.
I started couponing last year. I'm pretty good at matching coupons to sales and have knocked 50% off my bill but most of the time I save $25-30. Still not bad. Generally I only clip the coupons for things that I do use or might like to try. I've found that my local grocery will have sales on...
I generally wait for the parent to stop the behavior, but I do not have a problem telling someone else's child to stop a bad behavior on my property. Most parents will catch on and curb it, but I can give a hell of an evil eye to a child(they don't know I'm a big pushover). I don't accept...
Ok. I found this thread late this afternoon and I have sat her and read the entire thing. Hubby is snoring behind me so I'm safe even with the window open. I have a few "What the heck was that" stories of my own. Neither of these can be classified paranormal or cryptid but I can honestly say...
Exactly.
I have a big problem with this. I raise show collies. At this point I'm afraid to breed another litter. I health test and screen my homes. Anything I produce is welcome back here in the event that the new home can't take care of them. I follow the bills and send my legislators...
I don't know why anyone is surprised at this article. It's the same thing that they are doing to those of us the breed dogs. Next, they'll want to shut down hatcheries and then go after those of us who sell chicks and hatching eggs. Most people I know that raise any kind of animal, for profit...
One of mine had this pattern at about the same age. It looks to have developed into normal lacing for the most part, but I can still see an edging of gold on some of the breast feathers. She is from some shipped eggs I got. I haven't seen it on any of "my" chicks.
The green mass is the gallbladder. The large organ was most likely the liver and the yellow stuff fat. I really can't help other than to say the organs appear healthy from your pictures. I would probably treat for coccidia as well. Good luck.
