    Golda has been laying good big eggs but she every now and then lays one like this. Any thoughts? She is 5 months old.

    I have a Golden Comet that has laid 5 eggs in her 16th-17th week. She is real good about nesting box. Now in her 18th week she hasn't laid in 2 days but really acts like she wants to. My question is she ok or is there help for her? She acts normal and healthy in every other way...

    My research says they can have feathered feet. I love all thoughts and I think these little raptors like all of us talking about them!

    I believe you are correct. My first assumption was easter egger because of the feathered feet. She is a good girl.

    Thank you. The ones I know for sure are Lavender Orp, black copper maran, black tail buff maran, Golden Comet, and easter eggers. I will put up the ones I am not sure of.
