But I did find my silkie’s stash! 4 silkie eggs inside an old quail cage that has a very small opening. She just started laying about 2 weeks ago and so far only 5 eggs - or so I thought!
I had to switch from 2 heat plates to heat lamps because I had 2-4 baby chicks dead every morning. I finally realized they were getting stepped on by others under the heat plates. I had 2 heat plates and they would all get under 1 and get on top of others.
I had no idea baby chicks sleep...
