    why dont you get your birds npip tested . that should show your birds are not sick . dont see why you could not keep them if you get them tested and if you own the land how they could tell you what to raise on it . you might even have to get a lawer to answer your questions . good luck with this .

    was your heat and humidity set ?did the eggs try to hatch any?could be several things eggs little to old . temperature and humidity not staying where it should be .good luck with your hatch .

    the best thing would be fix you a cage by her self . then move her after dark . then she would only have one nest to go back to .other wise hens will just keep laying in her nest or breaking her eggs .never had much luck leaving them with other chickens. they just do better when they are alone .

    yes they will set when they get around 12-16 eggs . i think they are poor mothers . i take the babies away raise them . if not i never have very good luck . also i get eggs from there nest to incubate . keeps them laying longer and from going broody so soon.
