    6 weeks old chicks lost mama last night

    mama Mystie was pretty lifeless this morning. Gave her nutri drops but she passed. Done cpr for 4 minutes and she came back for three theni lost her again. Hubby stopped me at 10 minutes. She was gone. She has 12 6 week old chicks who have been indoor only - planed to move out this weekend...

    No blood beforehand and I don't think cocci. She's hugely better today. Wish I could say the same for my daughter. She's having flashbacks and nightmares. Been in our bed every night since it happened poor baby

    Her breathing keeps going really fast.... Slows for 3/4 mins then really fast for 30 seconds.

    Currently the one on my lap is switching from dozing to sitting up with her mouth wide open. Kerry (the dog) isn't allowed near them... We're wondering if that's the reason why she went on a bender. She doesn't go near the adult chickens who wander free range.

    We had 3 that were day 2xday 23 & 1 dayx24 - assisted hatched that one. I guess if they weren't rocking in their eggs in your palm and they didn't move when you opened the shell they were dead
