Thanks, we weren’t able to do much more than cleanse the eyes (it turned out the other was cloudy too) though. I wasn’t able to get a better picture, but you get the idea.

I think the larger black chickens are related to leghorns or are something similar to them and I believe the rooster and the hen in the nest are Cochins.
Any answers would help greatly as we’ve been wondering for quite some time!
