    Thank you dozengrilz. It was alot of fun. I already want a bigger one. I wish I would have found this site and knew more about how much space was needed.This will be fine for awhile but I poured my slab so I could make a larger coop when I learn more and want to expand.

    ok I got the coop moved out of the shop and set last weekend.You were right I needed the 8n wow it was heavy but we got it moved.The chickens took a couple of days to figure out there new home.Now just waiting for some eggs.Thanks everybody for all the advice this site is very informative.

    Some new pics and the coop is almost finished..I have been busy at work and the coop got put on the backburner for a little bit..Just a couple more days and it will be done..I do need some ideas for a roost inside thanks

    How many chickens could we have in this coop comfortably.The house is 4 ft x 4 ft and the run 4 ft by 12 ft. I am moving the nesting boxes to the side to free up room and gain access.

    My son and I are in the process of building this coop.We are new to chickens and are learning alot from this forum and the building of the coop
