All 21 of mine pipped internally very early. Around day 23/24 and started hatching late day 26 but it takes them forever. And yes, with ducks it looks like the air sac is huge and takes up about half the shell. Just remember that ducks take a lot longer than chickens to fully hatch. They’ll...
I’m looking for a large and a small so only 7 is ok. Will it accommodate larger eggs like ducks or turkeys too? I know that it does smaller. I use a wifi temp-hydrometer in all of my incubators, brooders for the first week or two, and in any outside habitats. So the hydrometer isn’t a must...
I have two incubators:
One similar to the one in the pic but not as nice. And a plain still air styrofoam one. The one in the pic, I hated how it rotated the eggs so removed it and have always done all of my eggs manually. I’m looking to add one or two incubators but would love some input...
Nope. It looks perfect! I did still air, dry incubation and has a 95% hatch rate with my first ever time hatching. Many looked even lower than that at 21 days. Check out this link

Do you have a time frame you are looking for? My girl is due for heat soon and will be mated. She is a fully trained psychiatric service dog with full genetic and hip clearances. Full pedigree with championship bloodlines. Akc registered and all pups will be able to have akc limited...
Is he still looking? I have some young ones. I live in PA currently, but am from Lk Hopatcong and would be happy to drive out and meet up with you or him.
Unfortunately, I have not received a single positive response or responses from people that have not read my detailed description. It has electricity and We are able to provide proper heating and cooling as necessary and the garage is basically unused except as a giant storage shed. No fumes...
definitely looks like wry neck. If you use Pinterest, search for chick with wry neck and you will find a ton of info on what causes it and how to treat it naturally or with medications. A big one is some molasses in the water as it’s chocked full of vitamins including selenium, which is needed...
We do temperatures of both extremes but the attic of the garage is well protected from the weather and does have electricity and working windows so the climate can be controlled as naturally or as artificially as needed.
Yes, does sound a little tangled lol. If you don’t mind trying to get in contact and either you ship them or I work directly with them, I would appreciate it more than you know. As I said in the very beginning, I’m willing to pay the postage and for time and effort, and if he wants something...
Not sure if you were responding to anyone in particular, but if not, or the others passed or would be willing to, Id happily even pay a reasonable price for them. My son’s birthday is coming up and he has taken a huge liking to hatching ducks and chickens and of all the animals we have, he just...
It’s a 2 car garage and the second floor is missing less 10 sq ft due to the stairs. The outside dimensions are 27’x19’ giving me about 500 sq ft with full 8 ft ceilings!!! It has a solid wood plank floor that’s painted and we plan on dividing the ducks from the chickens with fencing, at...
My son has taken a huge liking to hatching and caring for our chickens and ducklings. His birthday is coming up and I’d love to surprise him with some indoor birds to hatch and/or a mating pair to love. I know they sell them and while I’m willing to pay a fair price and shipping if needed, I...
