Thank you so much "Forgetful". That was exactly what I am looking for. I finally have a rooster from Foley and want to breed the best I can. What order does everyone else cull in?
There are so many things to cull for to try to get the best birds. I hope I can explain what I wondering. My questions for everyone is when going through your birds to pick the best ones what is the order of things you look for? This is hard for me to explain what I mean. What is the 1st, 2nd...
I am selling 2, 7 week old polish. My daughter picked them out and now decided that she doesn't want them. They are not friendly enough for her. They are a little to skiddish. I have had them for 3 weeks now. I am selling both together and would like to get $30 for the pair. I have them on...
I sure could if I had any free time. I think I am busier now than when I had a full-time job outside of the house. Gardening, couponing, kids, dogs, cat, chickens, house, husband, all keep me busy. Husband laughs cause when I left my job people asked what I was going to do with all my free-time...
I feel like I live such a boring life. Everyone here has so much to say and so much going on. I guess I just don't feel like anyone would have any interest in my boring life. Get up, let 1 dog outside, go out check on silkie ladies, go and yell at 1 silkie boy to let other boy eat, come in and...
Thanks guys for the identification! I swear the more I look at my new chicks the more confused I am. I am a first time chick owner. I guess I will learn.
The guy told me it was a cuckoo maran female but she looks so not plump and fuzzy like the orpingtons I got from him. She does have a real small white spot on head.
Can anyone help me identify this chick? When I bought chicks I wanted a Black Australorp and a Cukoo Maran. It just looks so different from anything I have seen online. It's not a fluffy chick. My daughter says it looks and runs around like an ostrich.
Snowing AGAIN! But on a better note my second hen started laying. I now have 2 silkies that are laying. I'm like a little kid at Christmas when I find those beautiful eggs.
