Hi! I have 12 layers, and one lovely RIR rooster. We have recently forayed into meat birds, picking up 15 cornish rocks at the feed store today. Is there anyone in Western Washington that rents chicken pluckers?
What is the work involved? I have a 7 month old Bernese/Sheltie/Sheperd mix, and so far he seems to just want to play, but I want to train him to be around the chickens. Any training advice?
