    Assumed bumblefoot

    I have a girl who went suddenly lame and has been separated from the flock. I am guessing it's bumblefoot due to characteristic scab on bottom of hurt foot. Not sure if I need to be more invasive but I've been giving her Epsom salt soaks and scrubbing the bottom of the food with a scrub rinsed...

    Beautiful and Sweet young rooster in Boulder, Co needs to be rehomed by 5/30. Please, if your flock has any room, consider taking him into your flock. He seems very responsible with his girls and friendly, loves having his neck pet. (He's just started crowing.

    We just got our first chicks, two ameraucana, a silver wyandotte, and a buff cochin. Everyone has their favorites, but mine is one of the ameraucana, and I'm worried that she might be a rooster. They are 8 weeks today and so far no crowing, but my favorite may be starting to bawk occasionally...
