    Best way to disinfect coop??

    Hi everyone, One of my hens died this morning from unknown causes (see thread about "hen with heavy breathing and leaning". None of the other birds have any symptoms (6 others) but I'm thinking it might be wise to clean out and disinfect the coop just in case? Any advice? Thanks very much...

    Update on the leaning hen - we found her dead this morning in the coop. She seemed to be improving yesterday but I guess not. I've done necropsies on wild birds before, so I'm going to give it a try on her and see if I can tell what might have happened. I'll keep you posted. Thanks.
