    I'm a first-time chicken owner, and one of our ladies hatched with a dislocated hip and as a result, her other leg can't hold up her wait and has over time crippled. We're considering putting her out of her misery, and we'd prefer the cervical dislocation but aren't confident we'll get it right...

    Chick with Dislocated Leg/Hip? HELP!

    New chicken mom here and I believe we're having the same problem with one of our < week old chicks. I have no idea what to do!! Any tips for getting the leg back into place would be greatly appreciated! She's gripping with the foot and trying to use it, but she ends up just kicking it...
