    Wheaten Maran

    I recently obtained a 10 week old Wheaten Maran pullet. I'm told this breed is somewhat rare. Any background on the breed or things I should look for with her? Thank you.

    Barred Rock -- Male or Female

    Thank you all for your help! I live in a city where the crowing won't work, so I need to find a new home for him. My son is really crushed. Of our 3, I think "Mabel" (now Merle?) is his favorite.
