We started raising chickens two years ago while we were living in a small community near Raleigh, NC. We started out with 12 chicks and a manufactured coop. We built a run covered with welded wire attached to the coop.
A year and a half ago were moved to a farm near Hillsville, VA. A BIG change from Raleigh. We had been planning this for over a year. We added 12 chicks to our flock last spring.
