    What kind of fencing is this?

    It looks like its knitted. If it is and one wire breaks, depending on the tension its at and the memory of the wire itself, it would easily weaken and split. Think of runs in pantyhose. (Did I just date myself? Does anyone even wear pantyhose anymore?)
