Keep in mind it’s not how much water you add that effects humidity you can add a plenty of water as long as it’s not going to get the eggs wet. Humidity is based on surface area not depth.
Alright I figured but I didn’t want to possibly kill any so I had to make sure mostly everything I’ve read says don’t open until all hatch. I do appreciate it and it’s not like I’m going to open it up for longer than 30 seconds but I had to make sure lol. Thanks for the reinsurance.
This isn’t my first incubation I’ve done it for a few years now but I’m no expert. day 18 at night with in 8 hours of lock down we had 2 chicks hatch. 2 more this morning about 12 hours later and 2 more now in the process of hatching with one just externally pipped. I haven’t opened lock down...
