ISO Nankin bantam eggs and/or chicks

Can anybody direct me to a hatchery or breeder that deals with Nankin bantams? I’m having a hard time locating eggs and chicks. Thank you!

    Too many in incubator?

Possibly with the snow. I’m in Florida so dry hatching is doable bc humidity is so ridiculous. Just want to be careful during hatch time so I add water on hatch day and keep the bathroom steamed if I need to open the incubator. It sounds like you’re having a good hatch😄

    Too many in incubator?

I feel like I was facing the same issue. 10 of my 31 (I originally set 42/6 not fertile/5 quit early) eggs didn’t hatch and I feel like it had to do with all of the hatched ducklings trampling over the eggs. The 10 were alive and well the day that hatching began. I eventually opened the...

    Genetics question

Very interesting! And beautiful duck. My khakis are light. And thank you. I hope it’s a girl tbh simply bc I’m not sure I want another drake but my son is attached to this little duckling🐥 He said it’s the only one that color and it will get bullied bc it’s different and we gotta keep it...

    Genetics question

Thank you very much for replying. That drake is very handsome. I was not intentionally breeding for an autosex duckling, and the thought didn’t cross my mind until the ducklings hatched😄 I temporarily replaced a welsh harlequin that passed away with some khaki campbells until my mail order...

    Genetics question

I know nothing about genetics. I’m hoping someone might know if crossing a silver welsh harlequin drake with a khaki campbell duck will create an autosex duckling? I set eggs that were purebred welsh harlequin (silver) and I also set eggs that were the mix mentioned above and I only hatched...

Ducks chirping but too early…a few questions

I hope to get some cute pics of them but for now just brooder pics😄 Final count of 15. If the sexing by the beak method holds true with welsh harlequins then I have 7 boys and 7 girls. I have them separated for now so their new owners can differentiate. The dark duckling is an unknown. I set...

Ducks chirping but too early…a few questions

More to come….still hatching! Two in the incubator. Two more almost hatched. Three more working on it.

Ducks chirping but too early…a few questions

It was fun watching them break free. My son was amazed. He stood over the incubator and watched a few hatch. We’ll be doing this again. I just hope next time we have a better hatch rate.

Ducks chirping but too early…a few questions

Thanks. I’ll send some better ones later today. So far nine babies. One all black, feet, bill, and plumage. I’m guessing a mix breed but I also read that welsh harlequins can carry the dusky gene so idk. I removed ten dead in the egg. Air cells were small and three were average size and the...
