lol 7yrs too late but having a parent who raced pigeons, my dad used to use a small crockery egg, you can get plastic ones but theyre a lot lighter and seem more fake- Selsley

this maybe helpful.... our araucanas stopped laying late october when they went through their molt, we also have a 8 mth old from last years hatch and an EE the same age from a buff orpington mother depending on your weather your EE may be waiting for warmer weather. our 2 adult hens started...- Selsley

seems fine, offered it wet bread and chicken food when it 1st landed but it wasnt interested, just wanted the company i think. no idea what its been eating today, managed to trace where the ring came from and its a registered bird, just need to msg them with the ring number and see what happens...- Selsley

no ducks, i think even the goose is male it was a problem goose, and we had a problem pig, although apart from initially, the goose has been find, last i saw the pig was happy too, but always wanted to bite us lol.... from what ive looked at online and the plain coloured hen, this duck seems... -

yes year (16) set sideways then a number then 3 letters sideways (breeder) them another number followed by an F which could be for france, where we are. but when i try to look for a duck or ring register being english, there more interested in register for shooting ducks than who owns them... -

White faced whistling duck info
had one land in the garden yesterday made the chickens bunch together, then they ran and hid in the compost heap when it approached. also seems to upset the goose, who either changes direction when it approaches or hisses viciously at it, ""the little bantam wont be worried" i said to my nephew...- Selsley

i did in the summer but it wasnt with chicks they were old enough to look after themselves, the mother hatched 6 eggs 4 chipmonks a pure white and a jet black, and it was the black and white she had issues with, so upon searching why mothers peck their chicks i read that a mother will reject...- Selsley
