I have been raising chickens for 20 plus years. Starting with no coop and my banties living in our shrub/trees and evolving into a a Re-purposed Tuff Shed with a window for the chickens to enjoy their long roosts. Eighteen years ago we finally decided to change our entire coop over to Seramas. we currently have 7 adults and 10 youngsters (3-6 weeks old). I do let them free range in our yard daily when I'm at home. I limit the chicks outside time without personal supervision due to Cooper's and Sharp-Shinned Hawks, and Crow activity.
