    oh okay, good to know. All features match except that lacing so it seems very likely. Thank you! Here are a couple photos of the two of them. The one described in this forum is the gold laced one, and the other is the one that looks identical to what you suggested is southern rambler.

    wow! They look extremely similar to my 2 black chickens except they lack the gold/orange lacing. there was another black chicken that I lost (not pictured in this forum) and now I believe she was a southern rambler.

    I just spoke with the tractor supply corporate office and the lady there is going to connect me with the hatchery, Hoover Hatchery. I sent her the photos that I posted here and she will pass them on to the hatchery and they hopefully will get back to me within a few days!
