    inside on the roost deleware hen 4 weeks old. here are the feeders ive decided to use these are the dog feeders with the front door removed they have worked like a charm so far.

    id say a little less than one bale approx 4 cubic feet, one bale does my coop which is 12x8 well good luck getting started:)

    we ordered from mt healthy also 25 chicks, all arrived in good shape we were very satisfied, i wish i ordered some of those black giants ,well maybe next time, c-ya.

    hi, the roof is just the clear plastic roofing, i bought it at lowes its pretty inexpensive they have the 3 different colors here clear, blue and green mine is the blue, i believe its all the same thickness , it was easy to work with hope this helps ricky.

    hey, no the bottom 12 inches is just chicken wire, your right i should go to the ground with the welded wire and chicken wire over it, or maybe some hardware cloth, thanks for the input.. there is some pics of the inside on my personal page. thanks again.

    Chicken Feeders

    hi, im trying these dog feeders i got at tractor supply, i just removed the front door on them, so far they have worked well, the lip on the front keeps the feed in there, when the chicks are bigger i will mount them up on the wall hopefully they will work well.

    we took a 2x4 and ripped it into strips and then nailed the strips to the posts sort of like making a permanent blind.
