    She did stop laying eggs. No swelling or bloat in abdomen or vent area. Her poops are normal. I am going to try the electrolytes.

    She has her feed which is for laying hens. She does get some treats and lots of cold fruit this summer.

    help and advice needed - muddy, wet coop floor!! :-(

    I use sand on my floor. It keeps their feet nice & clean & the poo is super easy to clean up. I use a kittly litter scoop. Even if it does get wet, it dries out quickly.

    I have a four month old silkie who just started crowing at weird times. Like after the sun comes up & sometimes randomly in the middle of the day. Is this normal?     Can I keep chickens in city limits of Greenville, SC?

    I live in the north main area of Greenville & have a rhodebar & some silkies. Neighbors behind me have about a dozen chickens. Most people are really interested in your chickens & express an interest in raising chickens as well
