Here is my girl! Her name is Lady( for the Bearded Lady). She is only 22 weeks and is the only one of my small flock that hasn't started laying yet, but I know it's early yet... She is the only Ameraucana I have and I love her!- Shana23

I got all the girls as day olds no hatching our own yet! its something that I think would be really cool for the kids but as we live in town I didn't want to run the risk of hatching a Roo… Eventually we will get a little bit of land outside of town and I can truly own the crazy chicken lady...- Shana23

Bloomie, What part of Nevada? I was a Trauma RN in Reno till 9/2012 when we decided to move back home to TX. I am from Texas but I miss the mountains terribly!!! I hope you are enjoying Texas so far and good luck on rebuilding your homestead!!!- Shana23

I just wanted to update every one! We have our chicks now. 6 girls: 2 Cochins, 2 Black Australorps, 1 Barred Rock, 1 Blue Amercanuas... We got them this week and they are all doing well!- Shana23
