    We j Just put her back out. This is the first time ive had anything like this happen. The other times it was stray dogs getting in the coop and it was over. Im better prepared this time.

    The pen is a 10x20 chain link 6 ft tall. Coated chicken wire around inside bottom 2.5 ft out and 1.5 ft up side. Top is also covered with an old canopy frame to keep it from sagging. The only way anything is getting in is the gap around the door or through the door/gate

    It looks like a laceration on the underside of her wing. It was not there yesterday so happened between 2pm and 7 am. This is after i rinsed and carefully rubbed her off some. It is still bleeding and her beak is pretty warm

    He is pretty protective of his girls but not aggressive to them or people so far. I handled them a lot as babies as they were in my second bathroom tub until it was warm enough outside.

    One of my female Pekins has blood on her side and under her wing. Am about to bring her in and clean her up to investigate. But my 1st impression is that she did it to herself. No signs of struggle and blood on her beak. None of the others seem affected and she is acting pretty normal so not...

    Hi, my name is Shay and while i have had chickens before but now i have a small flock of ducks, mostly Pekins. About to get rabbits as well to raise and sell and more ducks in spring.
